BOSTON – BROOKLYN CONNECTIONS

Can’t stop, won’t stop! LITH and NASK just hit a crazy 48 hours of driving and painting. They visited KEMS and JIMBOE in Boston, met up with SORIE from Israel and then crashed a night in Manhattan to do a wall in Brooklyn the next morning. That’s what we call productive!

There’s nothing like finding a nice and clean concrete. It feels like it was made just for you to paint it. Due to some inconvenient circumstances, we had to paint these in 2 hours, oh well…

Winter Chromes

In Montreal, never get fooled by the weather. We went up North for a painting session and snow was waiting for us. We had to go indoors and bang these chromes as fast as possible before we’d lose our fingers. Hope summer shows up soon.

Getting Up State – Day 3

Get Up State was a total success!
We had and amazing weekend meeting everyone from locals to writers to Hip Hop icons.
We have to say that were ecstatic with the outcome of our wall.

The three days of Get Up State flew by! A weekend full of Hip Hop and graffiti history to enlighten us all.

Thank you to everyone who made it out and special thank to Jay Potter and his lovely wife!

Getting Up State – Day 2

It just keeps getting better and better. The sun came out to play and the people of Ithaca alike. Lots of locals came through today to take a peek at the jam.

Korb laced down the huge 20 foot apes today while we were scurrying to finish our pieces and background. We are very humble to get a lot of love from locals and the legends.

Much respect to all the writers who gave us love this weekend. We still can’t believe we were here this weekend! And thank you to the Get Up State organization for being so dope to us.

Getting Up State – Day 1

We arrived in Ithaca today for Get Up State. We had a great first day of painting despite the very unforgiving winds at 30 km/hr.

Many legends were on site today and we were extremely humbled to be able to shake their hands and share some stories.

This was also the 30th aniversary of the famous movie Wild Style. We went to special screening and panel discussion. It was pretty dope to hear about the history of hip hop with the hip hop legends. Charlie Ahearn, DJ Tony Tone, Lisa Lee, Crazy Legs, GDL and last but not least, Grandmaster Caz.

This wraps up an amazing first day. Stay tuned for the Day 2.
